Our Mission

To advocate for the rights and welfare of Deaf individuals in Tanzania through education, awareness, and community engagement.

Ella Foundation Tanzania

Ella Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization that promotes the empowerment of Deaf persons in our community.

We focus on the Deaf community in Tanzania, both young and old, regardless of their formal training or education. This includes individuals who may not have had access to educational resources, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive and participate fully in society.

Ella Foundation promotes equity for the Deaf community by fostering cultural understanding and advocating for inclusive education that empowers from an early age. We bridge the transition to adulthood by creating pathways for corporate inclusion, mentorship, and entrepreneurship. Our goal is to ensure every Deaf individual in Tanzania has the specific tools and accessibility required to achieve financial independence and full societal participation.
